Created by Action Pants and The Rella Collective, Rella’s Cambrian Dream is a 60-minute multi-media science fantasy adventure that blends live theatre, 360-degree digital immersion, an episodic audio drama, and an augmented reality (AR) fossil hunt. Directed and dramaturged by Christine Brubaker with a script and lyrics by MIO_816, the story follows an ancient Marrella splendens creature named Rella on a hero’s journey through a warm, shallow equatorial sea 508 million years ago at the Burgess Shale site. Audiences are guided by a live leader on a conceptual hike that bridges modern life with Earth's ancient past.
Food & Drink
Food and drink aren't permitted in the theatre. The exception is a show with a bar or concession running — when there is one, we'll say so on the event page.
