About the space

What is Chrysalis?

A historic 1,200-seat proscenium theatre at 43 Gerrard Street East, reimagined as the research and development hub of The Creative School at Toronto Metropolitan University.

Concerts, e-sports, dance, and tech-forward theatre share one stage — built, staffed, and reinvented by artists, students, and technologists working side by side.
